Get your lash on in Beverly Hills

I came across LuxLash during my daily reading of Racked LA and instantly thought of the one and only Vicki Gunvalson of The Real Housewives of Orange County. I remember when Vicki was making a spa trip to beautify herself before one of her trips back home to the Chicago suburbs and she boasted that “they don’t have this in Chicago!” The “this” that Vicki was referring to was eyelash extensions, and while they may still not have it in Chicago, they now have it in Beverly Hills thanks to the opening of LuxLash. They claim to be “the nation’s first semi-permanent lash and brow spa.”
What is it with the lash obsession these days? From vibrating mascara to chemicals that make your lashes fuller and longer, there’s plenty of product to bat your eyes at. And now there’s this full on lash spa. Their signature treatment is of course the extensions where they glue on synthetic lashes one strand at a time in a treatment that can take up to 90 minutes. Their website claims you can swim, spa, and really just go about your fabulous business and your long fake lashes will stay on for almost two months (though some addicts come in for a filling every two wee
ks).
Does Lady Gaga get this done I wonder? Because the press made such a big deal when she was caught making out with her BF on a beach with no makeup – still looking super hot and awesome, I might add – and she was still working some falsies that I assume were left on from the night before.
In addition to eyelash extensions, LuxLash offers brow sculpting, prostetics, permanent brow and eyeliner tattoo, and eye area botox – one stop shopping! They also offer something called Eyebrite which they describe as a four-step “whitening, tightening, and and brightening” cosmetic process that will give you a “Makeup- less do eye look.”
If it will somehow turn me into Zoey Deschanel, I’m there.
