englishaustralianactressnaomiwattsturnssyj6ginuh95lLeave it to the Aussies to give you advice on sun protection. Famous “Sheilas” like Cate Blanchett, Naomi Watts, and Nicole Kidman grew up in a country with the highest incidence of skin cancer in the world, yet still they retain perfect luminous pale skin. What’s the secret this Australian ladies all have? Well two fair-skinned Aussies put their pretty heads together to create a new line of sun protection that is a sunny day must have for this freckle-face. And it has the cutest name ever: Hissyfit!

The line includes pretty much everything you need to protect your skin from sun damage including foundations, lip balms, body moisturizers and even a hand cream. The superstar of the line is their SPF 50+ foundation, aptly titled saving face. It’s available in 9 shades and goes on lightly and easily so that you’re really protected. Plus it acts as a moisturizer and and anti-ager, great for us busy bees who really want to streamline our beauty regimen.

Another product of theirs I love, love, love is  body double spf 30+. I used to be faithful to Nuetrogena’s sunblock whenever I went out on a sunny day, but have since tossed it because body double’s so fantastic. The main point of difference to me? Nuetrogena would go on sheer but then in 10 minutes, my arms and legs would be covered in sticky sunblock formula that resembled dry skin and would just roll off in gross little flakes. I thought all sun block creams did this until I found body double. It goes on smoothly and stays on; it’s not too thick or sticky and, because it contains aloe vera,  it really moisturizes. Plus the orange and peppermint essential oils in it give it a fabulous scent.

Available beginning May 20th at hissyfit.com and dermstore.com.
