iS your skin summer ready? Since SoCal’s June gloom has finally been replaced by the sun’s rays we can officially kick off the party with this weekend’s July 4th celebrations. Basically, we’re just going to be spending all of our time outdoors bouncing from beaches to barbecues. Since the heat is on, makeup is far from reliable, so we need to get our skin looking radiant.

I’m far from a big cakey makeup gal, so I basically don’t wear makeup during the day or at the beach. If anything I’ll rock some eyeliner, mascara, and sultry lip gloss. Hey, someone’s gotta buy my drinks! I realize we’re not all as comfortable doing this due to the various skin concerns that are out there. You can turn that frown upside down because I have a solution for anyone trying to figure out what iS going on with there skin. This being iS Clinicial by Innovative Skincare, this hot product line is more than just a pretty package. The company’s products are made to prevent and treat problems like: acne, dry skin, oxidative stress, pigmentary disorders, rosacea, and skin aging.

I’ve recently tried out two of their power products, the Youth Complex and youthcomplexActive Serum. This dynamic duo is a signature staple in their line and users can attest to experiencing actual visual results and skin improvements. I’ve used this for a little over a month now and have noticed that my skin feels and looks smoother and brighter. The only disagreements between my face and I is that it likes to be oily, and when I go a few nights without a proper washing bits of acne can pop up. Otherwise, we have a very amicable and loving relationship.

I’ve been using iS Clicinal along with my regular skin care products from Arcona. active-serumIn the morning I apply a dime sized amount of the Youth Complex on my entire face and neck. A little goes a long way with that stuff. In the evening after washing off the day, I tap on 3-5 drops of the Active Serum. The Active Serum is anti-acenic and helps with brightening the skin, while the Youth Complex is more about anti-aging and firmness. By using these products I can rest assure that I will continue to be carded when I order cocktails.

The product line is literally a Hollywood secret. That’s because it’s used and sold at many of the top skin spots around Los Angeles. I can’t tell you who uses the products, but I can tell you who should – Amy Winehouse. Let’s just say when I Googled “ugly skin,” her face pops up multiple times.

The products aren’t cheap either, but they show proven results – this is SERIOUS stuff. I recommend visiting a skincare professional to determine your unique skin care needs or call them to find a location near you.
