Tavin takes over Echo Park
Some would say it’s crazy to open a boutique in the midst of what the media has coined an “economic meltdown”. But, leave it to whimsical and artsy Echo Park to give us a new vintage boutique to spend our extra dough instead of hoarding it. The darling, Tavin will officially open this Saturday and everyone is invited to their launch party. The shop offers up a hodge podge of unique treasures. From browsing their blog, it seems like the eclectic
Tavin is the kind of place that if you find something you like, then you must buy it. Not because they will hold a gun to your head, but because it’ll probably be gone next time you come back. At least that’s what happens to me. I’ve learned that if I lust after something I have to buy it. There’s nothing worse than passing up a great dress and after a week of it dancing in your dreams you return to the store and low and behold it’s out of stock. The horror! I know we’ve all done that. But, I digress, Tavin is totally worth browsing through and although I haven’t been there (it opens THIS Saturday) the vibrant photos are luring me inside.
