From Vegans to Dessert-addicts to low-budget munchers, Citysearch will serve up your next fave meal

So it’s official, Citysearch is taking over the world and my life. First, it brings me the go-to place to find perfect hair with MopShots, the coolest way to find new shoes called Lucky Toes, and now they’ve launched three new websites for food-lovers: one saintly, one sinful and one perfect for recession living.

veggiething

Let’s start with the saintly one. It’s called Veggie Thing and readers can submit images and descriptions of their fave vegan meals. Whether you’re a true vegan or just flirting with the idea, this is the place to find the discover animal-friendly foods in your neighborhood. The pics are reviewed by “VeggieThing Dictators” (Citysearch editors and food bloggers who provide commentary on their fave submissions). Fingers crossed I make the cut! I’ve already submitted what the BF and I both ate for breakfast at M Cafe De Chaya this morning. Sadly, I have to wait for the mods to approve my post, but in the meantime, here’s pics of his breakfast enchilada and my vegan benedict for your viewing enjoyment.

Works of art, both of them! They also tasted quite wonderful too. And speaking of delicious, Citysearch is doing the same thing with sweets with SugarBomber.

sugarbomberHave a fave dessert? Take a pic and submit it to the site. And you’ll always know the best place in your neighborhood to get just the thing to satisfy a nagging craving for something sweet. Luckily, just ogling at all the pics is enough to satisfy me.

And if you like to eat out but are finding that you (like practically everyone else) needs to stay on a tight budget, then 3 Buck Bites is just the site for you. The experts and users of the site have scoured their local neighborhoods for the best meals under $3.99 (Rachael Ray and her $40 can suck it!) and are offering up their finds right here. Thanks to Citysearch, I’m never eating out without my camera – just in case my meal is too wonderful not to brag about.
