The Veggie Grill
A few weeks ago I invited my friend Jason to try out West Hollywood’s new dinning establishment, The Veggie Grill. Nestled in the same complex as a Trader Joe’s and a gym, the location makes for a lot of hungry health conscious consumers. While I’m no vegetarian, or vegan, the restuatant offers meat alternatives for those who are. Usually I’m not a fan of fake meat, but I figured I’d try anyway. I ordered up the Santa Fe Crispy Chickin Sandwich and Jason got himself the Chickin Caesar Wrap. Well, they could’ve fooled us – the food was incredible. It was freshly made and seasoned with all kinds of flavors. The sandwich was very filling, I probably should’ve only eaten half, but couldn’t stop myself because it tasted so yummy. They also have the most delicious sweet potato fries – which are my fave. Once you go sweet potato you won’t go back. To top it all off, they had some delightful deserts. The best is their carrot cake, way better than the vegan one I got a Whole Foods a bit ago. Their prices are very affordable and the location makes for prime people watching.
The Veggie Grill looks really cool at night because the interior is ultra modern with bright greens and reds. It always sticks out at me, kind of like a trendy club, but really it’s just a laid back healthy restaurant. Since I’m a local, of course I’ll be frequenting the spot and because I buy my groceries at the neighboring Trader Joe’s.
